Just My Cup of Tea

Hat: eBay //  Sunglasses: Amberie // Necklace: Banana Republic (on sale!) // Dress: Gap (on clearance, plus an extra 30% off) // Shoes: Zara // Lips: MAC Rebel
This weekend was pretty packed: my baby sister graduated academy! Also summer officially kicked in, right on the first of June: 100 degree heat that I never saw coming. Landed me in bed, over heated and feeling quite sick. However I managed to bake myself back to health, by baking a 3 layer yellow cake with nutella filling, and a vanilla lavender butter-cream frosting (whew!).

So darn cute. The sunnies put it over the top.

This dress is spectacular on you!! I typically have to do a more fitted waistline but I so, so lust over these breezy silhouettes! You're rocking it.

I just went into an extreme delicious sugar coma just READING about that cake. It sounds like the most amazing thing in the entire world. I can practically TASTE it.

And those sunnies are the cutest things ever. This looks like a fashion editorial more than blog pics. I love that. :)

Yo, Amber! (Sound American enough?) Totally digging the Elton John - circa - Philadelphia funk era shades. You look like a music publicist in the 1970s, only transported to modern times in tow with cutting edge of style. Retro yet advanced. Esoteric yet fun. Fetching but connective.

Glad you like the fact that I've gone green. Colour is culture, and the blog needed a lick of paint.

Well done to baby sis. Knowledge is power. (I have now run out of clichés.)
