Protective Hair Styles with Invisibobble

When you have a lazy Sunday (or for many of you today, a lazy Monday), what do you look forward to doing? Do you have a brunch ritual, or look forward to a morning hike with your girlfriends? Lately it has just been me, myself, and I. And as a result, I'm learning to not run from my own company. It's terrifying.

I am finding ways to busy myself while also trying to break my iPhone addiction. I am slowly but surely getting back into reading my books, learning new protective hair styles with Invisibobble, hiking on the weekends, testing out Periscope, and spending quality time with Eloise. (I am also starting to get back into my vegan / raw foods recipes, but it seems a little odd to mention when I've got a maple glazed doughnut in my photos!)

Playing with my hair can easily take up an entire morning. With the incredibly wet weather Sonoma County has been having, I've been doing my best to keep my hair tucked up and away to prevent frizz. A girl can only wear so many milk-maid braids before seeking a new protective style...! Thankfully, Invisibobble has lots of fun ideas. At first I was afraid that the very nature of the product would cause my fine, curly hair to become matted around the hair rings, but it turns out that due to the special polyurethane manufacturing, they come out just fine, with minimal hair loss. So far, my favorite look is the Loop Voila.
