While visiting my mother and sister in Arizona, my mother took me to her favorite place in all of Sedona; Tlaquepaque.

Tlaquepaque reminds me of an extensive Mexican villa. There are water fountains, beautiful lush ivy growing up and down the walls, a creek that runs through the property, cast iron gates, and blue and yellow tiles that line doorways and stairs. It's an outdoor artistry mall, but really, I could live here. I can imagine young senoritas throwing lavish turn of the century parties, horses drinking at the creek, and big thunderstorms with lightening cracks that would light up the skies and the rocky Sedona mountains.
On another note, isn't my mother adorable? I need to call her more often.
