This weekend I spent time with my family in Sonoma, under a bright blue winter sky. We went to see the Eleanor Coppola exhibit at the Sonoma Valley Museum. If you are in the area, I highly recommend a visit! The pieces were personal and very introspective. Many were almost meditative. I can see that Sophia Coppola wasn't just influenced by her father, but very much by her mother as well.

I know that I mentioned in a previous post that I had made 'a bold move' in my personal life. Now that it's a new year, I guess I might as well come out with it: I quit my job. I'm a little apprehensive about it. Well, more like shitting bricks if you will. But I'm glad I did it. I love my employers. They are wonderful people that I hope are a part of my life forever. I'm a lucky gal to have worked with them for the last 4+ years.
Lately I haven't been able to suppress my need for adventure. I find my mind wandering off to far away places and I often catch myself looking for something, anything new around every corner. I've given myself until March to figure out what it is that I'm doing. If I cannot find something that will light a fire under my feet by then, I'll have to tuck my tail between my legs and acknowledge that not all risks are always rewarded. But oh I hope...I hope that this risk will reap its reward!
