Getaway to Kenwood Inn and Spa

Earlier Fermin and I spent the day at Kenwood Inn and Spa. We were invited by the beautiful Christina to spend our day relaxing by the pool, wander the grounds, and sip on prosecco while soaking in the oasis of Kenwood Spa.

Kenwood Inn and Spa is a secret garden hidden away in the heart of Sonoma County. Blossoming with roses and jasmine archways it is a fragrant escape that instantly helps you unwind. The grounds are dotted with water fountains and fruit trees (we were told that any ripe fruit we found was ours to enjoy), as well as it's own kitchen garden. There are two jacuzzis and the main pool is heated to 84+ degrees, which means there was no need for us to wait for the weather to warm before jumping in.

Fermin and I arrived at 11am and quickly slipped out of our clothing and into our bathing suits. We had the whole of Kenwood to ourselves, and I played a game of pretending everything was mine to call home. Everything is so beautiful at Kenwood - from the sun soaked archways to the secret dining room just off the bar.

With a freshly opened bottle of prosecco in hand, we slipped into the largest jacuzzi we had ever seen and soon I found myself napping in a chair beside it. Later we swam in the pool taking turns playing under the water fall. In the evening we curled up with tea in the warmth of the spa lounge, and Christina kindly drew a Wine Bath for us upstairs in the jacuzzi bathtub.

To say our experience was heaven on earth would be an understatement. The seven hours we spent at Kenwood Inn and Spa were the most relaxing I have ever had. The songs of the birds, the playful squirrels, the beautiful and lush manicured grounds, the friendly staff, pools, and trickle of the water fountains all worked together to create a beautiful harmony that was unlike any other. What a magical experience!
