3 Ways to Start the New Year Fresh, With Crest

As the holiday season comes to a close (what?! So soon?) and we’re able to take a step back from all the sweets, desserts, late nights, gift-giving, and festivities, and back into our usual routines, it seems that there is always a period of readjustment. The holiday season can be a challenging time: extended travel times due to extra cars on the roadways, trying to find the perfect gift for others, and the stress of seemingly never having enough time to accomplish all that needs to be done. But! I am reminded that with just a little bit of time set aside for ourselves each day, we can easily adjust and bounce back from the craze of the holidays, and perhaps even make room for some new, healthy traditions [smiling emoji here]

Remember your self-care
Self-care is a newly popular term in the vernacular of pop-culture, but really, it’s been a thing for quite some time. There is no right or wrong way to do it. A form of self-care could be setting aside 5-10 minutes a day where you find a quiet place and go through a guided meditation. Or perhaps it’s learning a new skincare technique for you to incorporate into your daily routine. I myself was recently given a rose quartz derma roller as a gift, and I am excited to learn how to use it!

Take care of what you have
After a season of purchases large and small, gift-giving and receiving, it *might* be easy to forget to take care of what we already have. And while there are many examples for this, the one I’m going to use today is our teeth! Oral care is so very important. Remembering to maintain healthy oral hygiene habits needs to be a top priority for us all. Crest offers several toothpaste varieties to meet your needs: 3D White, Complete, Pro-Health, 3D White, Gum Detoxify, and Gum & Enamel Repair, and more. With so many options to choose from, choosing Crest for great oral hygiene is the best choice. And, Crest currently has great deals with Target! See below for details:

Give back to your community
Chances are that we have all accumulated a few extra items that we don’t have use for, or may have duplicates of. Going through our closets, pantries, and toiletries, and eliminating items that we no longer need or use helps us de-clutter. Gently used clothing (no rips, tears, or stains), and unused toiletries and canned goods can be donated to local shelters for those in need. If you’ve already de-cluttered, how about volunteering? A quick Google search will provide a variety of options and opportunities to give back. Find a program that you’re passionate about through local organizations, and schedule a time!
