Liv Fashion Boutique Grand Opening, San Francisco

"AAAhhh! What to wear?!" Came the text of my best friend Megan a few hours before the event. I had been debating the same thing all week. "Should I wear everything I have ever bought from them?" I wondered. Should I wear the maxi dress topped with a teal blazer? I work best under pressure, whether it be fashion or style related, or that French paper I keep putting off. So, I decided it would be best to not stress.
It was the grand opening of Liv Boutique in San Francisco on 3030 Filmore Street that had my friend and I so excited.
Living in Santa Rosa, I am a stones throw away from being yet another stones throw away from the city. There are three Liv Boutiques; one of them is in my town. The boutique is owned and operated by the fantastic sister duo of Jillian and Olivia. They have the buying talent of hippest girls you know, and I can always count on them to deliver. Unique? Yes. Fun and flirty? Yes. I-have-to-have-this-right-now-and-not-break-the-bank? YES. With brands like Lush and vegan clutches, it is like a shopping safe heaven: you just can't go wrong.

After parking Megan and I made our way to the electric pink lined store front and were welcomed by a live band - we hadn't been in the store for more than 30 seconds when we were greeted by Jillian with champagne. Ahh, I love Liv. With a cute electric fireplace on the back wall, and curtain drawn dressing rooms, the store felt like a place to bring friend. And indeed, every one was so friendly and helpful it felt like your best friends closet.

Megan and I had an absolute blast. We walked out with pieces that we both loved and couldn't wait to wear (Megan actually changed into hers later that night). It goes without saying that the event was an absolute success - there was a hip and trendy bar just down the street that wasn't as full as this place was that night - and for a Saturday night in the city that's saying something!

(ps. you may have noticed that there weren't any photos of me or Megan...that is because my computer has died and is holding all the photos from this even hostage. Liv Fashion Boutique was kind enough to let me barrow photos from their facebook page for the post.)
