Rust Blazer and Gap Wedges

Well my dear readers, I finally felt it this morning! That unmistakeable crisp in the air. I stepped outside, thinking it was going to be the usual 76 degrees, and it wasn't. I actually needed this blazer, and towards the end of today, my legs felt a bit bare. This is lovely. Fall is on it's way!

Audrey 3+1 dress, Forever 21 blazer (love the color!!), Coach bag, Gap Pierre Hardy wedges

How sad is it that I didn't wear these wedges all summer? For shame. I think I could spruce them up a bit if I changed the fabric that ties around the ankle.

Now that fall is here, there are a few things I am looking forward to. Things like the corn maze in Petaluma. It's this amazing corn field that was planted earlier in the year, and for the month of October they create an intricate maze that you have to find your way out of. Get lost for a few hours? Days? Not to worry! There's food (corn)!
With fall now being here I also have the excuse to drink my favorite drink: salted caramel hot chocolate. Hmmm....

EDIT: for those of you who follow the calendar, you may have noticed that today was supposed to be a guest post. The person never came through!

  1. I love this blazer, it has a beautiful color.
Curious to see what you do the wedges

  2. I had to don a blazer like that for school, only mine was red but it when a bit rusty when exposed to rain.

  3. Love the blazer and wedges! Super cute outfit! :)

I am excited for the corn mazes too! I just moved up to norcal a couple years ago, but the corn maze last year was destroyed by early rain before I had a chance to go! So sad!

I love your blog btw, I am following you! :)

  4. Oh, I wish I had your enthusiasm for fall. :P But, alas, the chilly gust of wind only reminds me that snow and driving in the snow and being cold and being miserable is quickly on its way...

No, the shoes from the header of my blog are not mine:) But I found a similar pair by coincidence in Zurich!
