New Friends

Eloise made quite the little friend this weekend. Last week I tweeted that I had just seen a humming bird while on my balcony. Turns out the little guy lives right in the tree that is right behind us. Eloise and the bird first discovered each other early last week when the humming bird flew right up to the window that Eloise was sitting in. Both became instant friends. They have had their morning meet ups everyday since.
Can you spot the humming bird?

How was your weekend?

That's so cute! My darn dog tries to make friends with other animals, but I think he just ends up annoying them to the point that they either run away or attack him!

That is how I spent a lot of the weekend- inside, hiding from allergens. But I spent a very sunny Sunday Mother's day outside!

It's the beginning of a beautiful friendship! It is so cool that you got a shot of the hummingbird too!

That's so cute! It's been ages since I've seen a hummingbird.

I'm trying ever so darn hard but I can't see the hummingbird anywhere. Is this like a trick image? Like, some existential riddle where the hummingbird is wherever one wishes to see it? In that case it's clear as day.

It's a little brown hummingbird - it's easiest to see in the last photo - with it's side profile, in the almost center - mostly left side of the photo. And then in the 2nd to last photo, I caught the hummingbird actually sitting in the tree, on the branch (he's in the center of the photo).

I hope that helps!
