My boss (perhaps some sort of subliminal styling challenge) kindly gave me this outfit from the store. She gave them as three pieces separately. I wanted to see how they would all work together as an outfit, and to my surprise I liked the result!

It seems that fall has arrived early to Northern California. The day these photos where taken, temperatures didn't rise above 64 degrees! Of course, there will be some sort of heat wave in late September / Mid October (there always is) that will mess up my layering mojo.
Why I'm A•Mused: My "skirt" here is actually a slip. It's solid enough to not look like underwear, and I love how the fringe plays into the layer of the jacket. Also, I personally love how this neon orange necklace looks with the purple tank. My boyfriend said "it's eclectic, and not in a good way" when I left the house, but he's a guy. I love it, and I think it works in a great way.
