Perlier Shea Butter Hand Cream [Review]

This is my second Perlier product review, and I'm so happy that I've had the chance to review products for both face and body. This Perlier Shea Butter White Lilly Hand Cream has a light scent that isn't too over powering. I am a huge fan of shea butter, and I think that shea butter alone has a wonderful natural sent. I usually tend to not purchase any lotions that have perfume because I often like to have the option of choosing my scent for the day (I'm too fickle to commit to smelling the same everyday), however this one isn't too bad. The scent is sweet but not overtly, and has a mild earthy tone to it. The best part is that it melts into the skin quickly, and doesn't leave your fingers sticky - a very important trait when you're always handling your phone, typing at your keyboard, etc.

My only gripe with the product is that it is so large. I know - I'm complaining because there is too much product. However I often want to be able to carry a hand cream in my purse; and with nearly 7 ounces in a tube, it's just not practical. So instead I've opted to use it as a body cream. It's been a great moisturizer for these super hot days we've been having. As you know we Californians are in a drought of epic proportions, and it's been really dry! The product retails for $24, which isn't too bad considering some of the competitors pricing. That being said, I feel like I'm getting more out of the product by using it as both hand and body lotion. Overall, I would recommend this product. The scent isn't too heavy, it soaks into the skin quickly, and also makes a great body lotion!
