It's been a long time since I've styled a dress over jeans - I believe the last time I did so was in high school. What makes layering this dress so easy however is that while it's certainly long enough to be a dress, it can easily pass as a tunic. I guess it just depends on how much leg you feel like showing.

Ever since returning from New York, I haven't been too content to remain in one place. I want to be out and about bumping into people, being a part of a crowd. The only thing is, there aren't too many crowds north of San Francisco...and Eloise my cat can only provide so much conversation.
I like to wander Petaluma a lot; it's got great coffee shops, fun boutiques, and it's close the water. While there I made sure to stop by one of my favorite shops, Oh La Loft. I'm one of the strangest shoppers I know: I like to browse for ages, then leave, come back and browse again...leave...and then come back a week or so later and buy all the things. The way I see it is: if I can leave it and forget it, it wasn't meant to be. But if I leave it and can't stop thinking about it, it goes from a want to a need. Do you agree? How do you shop?
