Victoria Beckham x Target Orange Romper

Victoria Beckham x Target Scalloped Orange Romper

My feed is flooded with Coachella photos and outfits! It seems the music festival that was once all about the artists has now become a fashion event in its own right. It's fun (and interesting) to see the snaps of what everyone is wearing, the flower crowns, the fringe, and the Revolve House pool shots. To me, Coachella has always seemed like a fun fantasy getaway, one that celebrates two art forms I have always loved: fashion and music.

While I have yet to attend the festival, Northern California certainly has some wonderful getaway locales of its own that certainly feel like an escape from reality. The town of Calistoga is known for its spa-like atmosphere, hot springs, and desert-like charm. Nestled at the base of Mount St. Helena, and a gateway between the Sonoma and Alexander valleys, this little town has a flavor that is all it's own. Just 8 miles away from St. Helena, the two towns are worlds apart in atmosphere, style, and attitude. In St. Helena you wine, you dine, and you shop. In Calistoga you kick off your shoes and have yourself a mud bath, and a swim in the mineral pools. Both are excellent ways to spend an afternoon.

One place that I love to visit is Indian Springs. They have two large mineral pools, an incredible spa, and the most beautiful outdoor dining at their on-property restaurant, Sam's Social Club. Calistoga has many world-class spas, and this is one of them!

The Victoria Beckham x Target collection is as popular as ever, and I am loving so many pieces out of the collection. One of the items that really stood out to me was this scalloped orange romper (just $35!). It's so bright and colorful, and so perfect for the warmer days ahead. If I was attending Coachella, this piece would certainly be in my bag.

My Musse & Cloud Ciara sandals are also oh so perfect for any spa or Coachella Valley getaway. The bronze-y copper metallic finish is unexpected for a shoe, and they are so comfortable that I can easily walk long distances and not have to worry about my feet. Have you ever noticed how metallics act as a neutral in many outfits? I love it! Plus, the fun little peep toe allows me to show off my new lavender pedicure, which is always a bonus. If you'd like to see how all the fashionable muses styled their Musse & Cloud shoes be sure to follow the #mcinthedesert hashtag on Instagram!

This weekend I plan on throwing myself a little spa/music festival of my own: I will give myself a mud facial, a pedicure, and listen to all my favorite artists ("Redbone" by Childish Gambino has been on repeat as of late), and then brunch with friends. What about you?
