What Time is it? Watch OUT!

Have you seen the new O'CLOCK watches?
These Italian design beauties are after my simplistic heart.
The uber-cool menswear site (and hopefully womenswear soon...) Steadyguy has these in stock!

How beautiful are these? Glorious shades too.
They arrive in a tin can that you peel back to open. How can one resist the: cute packaging, not a sight of Victorian beading in sight, and awesome array of colors. I'm so hooked!

O'CLOCK watches fit like bracelets, bringing a pop of color into any outfit.
And, adding to their awesome array of accessories, don't forget to check out SteadyGuy's Brixton hats:

This would be cute with a chunky scarf and leather knee high boots. Don't you think?

Hope you all have a great Halloween!

Watercolor Nails [Nail tutorial!]

OPI's "The IT Color", and Zoya "Envy"

pointer and middle finger: Essie's "Geranium" and China Glaze "For Audrey", ring and pinky "for Andrey" and OPI's "Grenada and Bear It"

I am so happy to share this video with you! I absolutely LOVE polish art, and have been meaning to show some of my favorite technique's to my readers for a while (as in, over a year).
If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
If you try this out, please send me photos! I would love to see them, and post them here on my blog!

Under Banana Leaves

Bambooshka Dress (Etsy), Target tights, Steve Madden Heels.

Whenever it rains, I cannot wait to bust out my banana leaves umbrella. It is a firm belief of mine that rainy weather basics should be anything but. Rainy weather is dark - so why could your accessories be??

These heels are high enough to splash in puddles and not get your toes wet;
And that's just what I did!

Polka Dots, Denim and Fur

F21 dress and lace body, thrifted Ralph Lauren denim jacket, vintage fur vest

Isn't Eloise Fleur, my kitty beautiful? She looks so picturesque sitting in her windowsill. She likes
to watch the rain; and apparently hide under long dresses.
I think she would have made a great starring role in this movie:

Petticoat and Boots

Thrifted dress and boots. DIY skirt

Once again I forgot my makeup bag (everything) in my boyfriends car this morning. Yesterday I had to run into Macy's on my way to work to get some foundation on!
My dress was all wrinkly today, but I actually quite liked the effect. A bit undone.

Too Hot [outfit post]

Forever 21 jumper, gifted necklace worn as a belt, no brand heart sunnies

Every moment you can

Last night I got the saddest news:
my (step) grandmother passed away. It was all so quick. She was hospitalized on Monday. I have never in my teen, or adult life had a family member pass away.
This morning I called my grandfather to check in on him; the first time I called he was away.
He was out picking an urn for his deceased wife. Can you imagine?
The woman and love of your life, all the memories, joys and moments fitting into a jar?
My grandfather is so upset. So heartbroken that he wasn't able to set up the Christmas tree for her...He wanted her to have one last Christmas - no matter what time of year it was.
Life, and our beloved people in them are temporary.
Cherish every moment you can.

6 inch heels

Girls night out. Danced till I couldn't feel my toes: my legs are still sore!
Found a 4 foot deep windowsill at bank; took advantage.

My blog got 487 hits yesterday! That's HUGE for me!!
A big thank you to all my lovely readers!

New Amberie additions

Stayed up late and got up early while working on these. I love them so much!
They both have great movement and I think the themes are really fun.

Back in Black [Outfit post]

VS tee, F21 skirt, chunky cardigan gifted from my lovely bestie: Express, Vintage fur vest, YSL tribute heels

It's amazing how a towering 6 inches can uplift one's mood. Sometimes true style is reveling in the things that you do have, and not in the things you don't.
