Mustard Seeds and $6 Coach Bags

Forever 21 dress
Oh, this weather has been amazing! The mustard fields are in bloom, and I couldn't be happier. I bought this dress a long while back, and to me it just screamed spring. Light as air silk and adorable little polka dots - pure joy. It's a little big on me, but I think my sewing machine and I can fix that. Flowers all around, butterflies in the air, and then more flowers in my hair - quite the style and fashion of spring! Heart shaped sunglasses were the perfect touch. Mother Nature has the best fashion - I'm just trying to keep up!

Have you met my newest bag? A leather Coach bag, 100% authentic, that I found at my local thrift store. I had been having this feeling all week that I had to go - that there was something special waiting there for me. I searched, hunted through all (6!) buildings until I came across this bag. In perfect condition, it was just hanging off the wall. The tag said $12 and I snatched it and ran up to the register. Can you believe it? It was 50% off that day and I got the bag for $6. I told my boyfriend to run before they realized what had just happened!( If you know where I am talking about, you may just want to head back, I left a Dooney and Bourke bag hanging there!)

I love California when the mustard flowers are blooming! It's so beautiful! I was telling a french person about the mustard flowers in the vineyards of Napa during Spring and they seemed genuinely concerned about it and wanted to know why the wineries did this.

I don't know, I said, pour faire joli!

You look beautiful and are the real reason those flowers grow! :)

Oh my gosh, are you kidding me? I love great finds like that. I once found some satine and chiffon Vera Wang shoes in a thrift store. Sadly, not me size, too small.

I love that dress on you, even if you don't alter it! There's something so retro and womanly about it. High five for picking that one out!
