DIY Treats for Halloween

While wandering the candy isles trying to decide on what treats we should buy for Halloween, it dawned on me: I could make my own! And so, I did.

Of course these won't be handed out to trick-or-treaters, but they are so delicious to eat here at home! I filled the heart shaped ones with broken up pretzel pieces, rice krispies, peanut butter, and caramel sauce. These are so quick and easy to make that I hope you get a chance to try these! Simply melt chocolate over a low heat, and use silicone molds. Or, just dip your favorite foods!

(Sorry for the yellow toned photos - I made these after the sun went down! Kitchen light gives off a yellow tone)

Yes Amber, these images aren't up to your usual high standards of photography, but they'll do.

These treats look frighteningly good, though the effort to make them is beyond me. I think Halloween is a seriously big deal in your end of the world. Over here they don't even bother to show good horror movies on television to mark such an auspicious occasion.
