Well, a few posts ago I complained about the weather, and it seems that Northern California had a bit of mercy on me. It finally dropped in temperature for a little bit - and we even had two days of rain! Sadly, it's supposed to be in the 70's all this week, but I'm thankful that we had a little bit of fall...even if just for a week.

We came here right after sunset, and all the colors were rich hue. It was lovely seeing the water so calm, and to watch the large white birds fly home. Everything was so quiet that I found myself whispering not wanting to disrupt the scenery.
