I cannot seem to slow down these days. The other day while at work, I paused at looked at the decorated Christmas tree, and I heard someone outside tell another person“Merry Christmas!”. It hit me: I’ve been running around, forever on the go...This holiday season is going to pass me by, and I’m not even going to know it. Christmas is my favorite time of year. The weather is cold, the layers are on, and all I want to do is cuddle. The street lights seem to shine brighter at night, my cheeks are extra rosy, and family is often in town. However, lately I have I felt as though I am a treadmill, and it’s cranked up at high speed. Like the sun at day break: I am trying to reach all corners of the earth from the very start of the day. Only, unlike the sun, I am less glorious. Less efficient.

Bonjour Amber. Thank you for your visit today. I love this outfit, but am guessing you took these pics earlier in the season? If not, and they were taken this week, you are lucky to live in a part of the country with such gorgeous weather. :-) Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

Bonjour Veronique! I actually took them yesterday. Northern California weather can be a little magical: freezing in the shade, and warm in the sunlight.

I was just thinking about how I haven't visited your blog in a while. Spotted pants make such a chic statement!

I know the feeling. Christmas is definitely sneaking up on me this year, which is probably why I'm doing this un-traditional holiday thing this time around.

Anyway, I think your peplum top is one of the cutest I've ever seen!
