Crown Brush Review

iFabbo sent me this beautiful Crown Brush set, complete with a mirror and pair of tweezers for review.

I received my Crown Brush set the night before I was set to leave for Colorado. The set comes in a vinyl zipper case, all the brushes fit neatly inside, and the case itself is quite thin making it perfect for traveling. One of my favorite features is that it comes with a pair of tweezers. I know it may sound a little silly but whenever I pack tweezers are usually the one item I think I won't need, but almost always end up wishing I had packed. I think my eyebrows grow three times as fast while away from home! It's the strangest thing.

The set comes with six brushes. All except the liner brush are very dense, all are soft and pick up quite a lot of product. I really like to use the Powder Brush for blush (big rosy cheeks!), and the Tapered Brush for applying my foundation. The handles are wood, and all are double crimped where the metal meets the brush handle. The tweezers are great - no gaps whatsoever where the two tips meet! (Have you ever had a pair of tweezers that didn't connect at the end? Nightmare!)
I am quite thrilled about the Crown Brush set - I've never actually owned an entire set before. I have plenty of brushes, but all were random purchases, no three of the same brand. I personally find it lovely to have a set of brushes that all match, and have a little carrying case of their own. The only thing that I wish was included in this set is a brow brush. However with that said, I find this set to be nearly perfect (the mirror more than makes up for the lack of brow brush). If you're still scrambling for a last minute gift, I recommend this beautiful set!

Have you heard of Crown Brushes before? Do you own a brush set? If so what kind?
