Visit to HALL Winery

Recently I took my first visit to HALL Winery in St. Helena, in the Napa Valley. Thrilled at having the chance to visit, to experience the artwork, and to taste the wines that the place was famous for. When visiting a winery in the Napa Valley it is important to strike a balance between being both chic and comfortable: I knew I had the perfect outfit for the occasion.

My dress, as you may recognize is from the style collaboration between Victoria Beckham and Target. The collection was feminine and modern - everything I could hope for in a collection. This dress, in particular, appealed to me because of its slightly quirky detail of the bunnies on the collar. HALL Winery is famous for its giant bunny statue (aka Bunny Foo Foo) which greets all guests at the entrance to the property.

HALL Winery houses the sculptures and creations of a number of internationally acclaimed artists including John Baldessari, Patrick Dougherty and Lawrence Argent (who created the silver bunny sculpture). My lapel bunnies were in perfect sync with the giant bunny at the gates and the dress didn't go unnoticed! Many employees at the winery complemented my dress and asked where it was from. I paired the dress with my L.K. Bennett nude heels, topped off with a short-brimmed hat, and my look was complete.

Did you know: If you stay at SENZA Hotel, you will receive two complimentary wine tastings to HALL Winery! Learn more

The day was warm, and visitors were sprawled across the grounds sipping wine and lounging along the vineyards in their Adirondack chairs. HALL Winery has plenty of lush lavender on the property, and the heady scent of the flowers reminded me of my time in Provence. From the fun and quirky outside art to the flickering light sculptures inside, it was really a lovely experience! I love when art, food and wine, and culture all blend seamlessly together in one afternoon.

Critically acclaimed for their Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (#18 out of 100 on the Wine Spectator's "Top 100 Wines" list), be sure to visit HALL! The hours are: 10am-5:30pm. Tastings and tours start at $40.
