Makeup Geek Pigments - Liquid Gold

Have you heard of the Makeup Geek? Marlena, the self proclaimed Makeup Geek and I met for the first time at the iFabbo conference in October. She was super sweet in person, and even gave me some much valued blogging advice. I didn't know it at the time of meeting her, but she also owns a makeup company by the same name! In my goody bag from the event I found a pigment from her brand that I am just now getting around to trying. You guys, it's incredible.

I am not one to wear much eyeshadow, or eye anything, however after trying out this pigment (the color is called Liquid Gold) I am considering wearing this everyday. The texture is velvety soft, and has high (ie solid) pigmentation that doesn't require any layering. It goes on very smooth, and as of 4 hours of wear so far, no creasing.
The color is also gorgeous. The camera translates the color pretty well. If I had been the one naming it, I think I would have called it "Peacock Gold", as I can see flashes of green throughout. Either way this has to be hands down the most stunning eyeshadow/pigment I have ever owned. I have a Dior pallet that I payed a staggering amount for, and the color-payoff is nowhere near as stunning as this $6.99 pigment is. I hope you will find a color that you like, and give Makeup Geek's pigments a try!

*This is a non-sponsored post. I did receive the product for free, but as part of a goody bag. I just really love this product!
