Banana Republic Silk Halter Dress

Silk Halter Dress - with pockets!

Have you ever felt like you're running just as fast as you can, and while you're able to keep up with the pace, you're wondering how long you'll be able to keep up? That's where I'm at. And it's certainly not a negative thing - it's a positive, vibrant space to be in. I am so thankful for the blessings that I have in my life; it's a 180 degree turn from this time last year, and I so excited to keep at this. Who knows, maybe I'll even be able to exceed it by April 2018. We'll see 😉

Moving at the pace that I currently am (recently promoted to Marketing Manager, pushing the blog as hard as I can, 2 freelance gigs on the side, planning an international trip for next month), I need clothing that not only goes from day to night, but keeps up with me. Pieces that were made to move, you could say. In my last post I shared with you a pair of Banana Republic jeans that were quite literally made to move with me: their signature stretch fabric made them comfortable and wearable for essentially any weekday and weekend occasion.

Today I'm sharing with you another piece that is made to move in a slightly different manner: the light as air Banana Republic silk halter dress. The gentlest breeze sets it aflutter. Silk can be great for travel too: it releases wrinkles easily with just a light mist of water; another bonus being that it essentially barely takes up any room in the suitcase! For my upcoming trip this dress will certainly be packed for an evening dinner. Did I mention that it also has pockets? Made to move indeed!
