Feathers and Stripes

Lush sweater // Audrey dress // Etienne Aigner boots //
Mixing patterns for Friday. While getting dressed I really loved the concept of the outfit, but something was missing. Then I applied a bright lip color, and bam! there it was. The outfit was complete. Interesting how lip color can play such a large role.
What are some of your favorite lip colors?

Megan gave my this bracelet for my birthday! Isn't it lovely?

I just realized that I have my sunglasses on in nearly all of these photos!
This weekend Fermin and I are taking my sister out for her birthday. Should be fun! Last year we put her behind the wheel and said "drive!" (She had just turned 16). I kept yelling "Faster! Go faster! A snail just whizzed by!" Ah, big sister privileges.

I love how you put this together-it works so well!! I LOVE that dress and that lip color is gorgeous on you. My favorite lip colors are usually pinks but I would love to pull off a red.

I can't pull off red lipstick :/ I usually wear a medium berry color with sparkles in it :)

I'm new to your blog so I've been exploring your past posts. This one is terrific. The outfit is sophisticated and pretty; the lip-color is vibrant; and the sunglasses are adorable. That's enough -- I'm following!
