I wanted to introduce you to Elsie, the official assistant extraordinaire for A Mused Blog. Chances are you've already experienced her handiwork of working behind the scenes: she's who gives you a behind the scenes look during photo shoots, as well as scheduling out my tumblr and Pinterest accounts. We've got some great ideas in the works - but first, let me allow her to introduce herself!
Hello everyone! My name is Elsie and
I’m Amber’s new intern for A Mused blog. This is my first post of a bi-monthly
series that I’ll be doing, giving you commentary about life and experiences. I’m
also going be Amber’s tumblr presence (so I’m hopping I’ll see tons of likes
and reblogs). I’ll let you get a behind the scenes look at
some photo shoots we do so as you to give an idea of the fun craziness that we go
through getting posts to the blog.
Just
a little about me so I’m not a stranger: Although I’m truly Sonoma County born
and raised, my mother is English so I spent summers across the Atlantic
visiting family and friends. This was the inspiration of my love for travel. I’m
constantly planning my next trip (there are WAY too many flight/travel apps on
my phone). I can’t think of anywhere in the world that I do not want to visit.
I
also have a love affair with my wardrobe, and I think that fashion and how you
dress is an essential part of someone’s personality. I really believe that clothes
are vital to how you present yourself and what you can communicate to the
world. I’m really drawn to juxtaposition, like heavy menswear with delicate feminine
touches. Lately I’ve been into the sporty tomboy look, a la Cara Delevingne. Finding the balance between “I don’t care” and “I tried really hard so,
appreciate it” is difficult and the struggle is on going, so I will be sure to keep you
posted.
